On Sunday 1st October, Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens opened it’s doors to it’s first Artisan Fair and Autumn Walk, and what an event it was!
With over 45 stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy – from paintings and cards, wooden crafts, clay jewellery, delicious blondies and brownies, hampers, candles, clothing, bags and so much more!
Outside visitors could enjoy delicious hot food from the Wood Oven Pizza, The Chilli Guys, and Project D.
Sweet Pea’s Tearoom also offered some yummy takeaway snacks and hot drinks.
The historic gardens were open for walks, and visitors parking on the event site got to enjoy a walk up to the event through the old woodland lined with pumpkins.
In the Orangery was pottery painting from Paint and Glaze, and face painting from Brushed Beauties.
Welcoming over 1500 visitors throughout the day, it was a great success, and preparations are in place for the next one!
Events like these help to keep the Kelmarsh Trust open for the publics enjoyment – thank you to all who support the trust by visiting, purchasing season tickets, and attending events and workshops .
